For the 12th World Shakespeare Congress, Progetto Arte Poli created ten medals to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the International Shakespeare Association, the organization that brings together Shakespearean scholars and institutions from around the world.
This event of extraordinary importance brings scholars and academics from over 80 countries to Verona from July 20 to 26, turning the city into a place of international cultural encounter and dialogue.
The ten bronze medals were presented by Andrea Mezzetti of Progetto Arte Poli during the opening ceremony at the Polo Zanotto of the University of Verona, in the presence of Prof. Silvia Bigliazzi, the university’s Vice Rector Prof. Giovanni De Manzoni, and distinguished representatives of the international academic community, including ISA president Prof. Peter Holland.
