Built in 1755 in the heart of Copenhagen, the Hotel D’Angleterre has been part of numerous political and national milestones in Denmark’s history. Even today, with over 250 years of heritage, it remains an icon of elegance, luxury, and style. In 2005 the hotel’s owners commissioned a new ceiling for the reception hall.
Our team of technicians and artists were involved in all phases of the design, not only for the artistic part of the mouth-blown glass ceiling but also for the pyramid-shaped aluminum and glass skylight covering it, thus enhancing also the outside of the hotel. The stained glass ceiling elevates the room’s aesthetic while featuring a mechanized central opening for ventilation, seamlessly combining elegance with practicality.
