Born as an aggregation of matter concentrated around a core, the table’s design is a refined reinterpretation of the creative vision of Master Albano Poli. Crafted through strict principles of identity and material sincerity, and using traditional methods preserved in PROGETTO ARTE POLI’s atelier, Decumano is a testament to the immense heritage of art and fine craftsmanship. This legacy is interpreted through the innovation and futuristic lenses of the Bertone Design Team, led by architect Alberto Talarico.
The table is a large scale reimagining of an iconic mouth-blown glass light sculpture from the Poliarte collection. Bertone Design has masterfully interpreted its essence, evolving it into a piece that captures the contemporary spirit. It is a dialogue between heritage and contemporary vision, united by the same shared passion for beauty and fine craftsmanship.
