Our history
70 years of experience and growth
The history of PROGETTO ARTE POLI starts in 1953, when Master Albano Poli began restoring and creating stained glass windows in a small workshop in a prestigious historic palace in the city centre of Verona.
From his know-how and passion for stained glass started his workshop focusing on stained glass windows and design furniture that are still sought after nowadays. Of particular relevance are the Poliarte lamps that thanks to their unique and contemporary design are still sought after in today’s vintage markets.
Through the years, the workshop has expanded and included different techniques. Mosaics, frescoes, paintings, wrought iron, bronze and marble statues became part of the workshop alongside the stained glass. PROGETTO ARTE POLI is now an artistic atelier capable of creating unique artworks, tailored to the exact needs of the clients.
Albano Poli graduates from the Fine Arts Academy of Verona as a stained glass artist.

Albano Poli opens his first workshop in the historical Spolverini Palace in the city centre of Verona.

The iconic POLIARTE brand is born. It distinguishes itself for its unique and distinctive lamps designed by Albano Poli.
With the same passion as his father, Paolo Poli starts working alongside Master Poli managing the atelier and acting as artistic director.

The workshop moves to its current location
The workshop doubles its space and its craftsmen: 6000 mq and 50 craftsmen and technicians.
Not just stained glass anymore but also mosaics, frescoes, sculptures became part of PROGETTO ARTE POLI artistic production.
